AquaCHECK®
All Newline Bathroomware Acrylic Showers feature patented aquaCHECK® technology.
AquaCHECK® was developed by Newline and is a simple yet ingenious channel and drain system designed to prevent capillary water action and leakage, both of which can lead to water damage.
The aquaCHECK® system is designed to create an air gap around the upstand where the acrylic shower tray contacts the wall. This air gap prevents water creeping in over the shower tray upstand and causing damage behind walls, or to the underlying structure and floors.
An additional feature is the drainage system which uses unique corner drains built into the external corners of the Newline Acrylic Shower Tray. These drains prevent water pressure building up on the aluminum extrusions of the shower door, ensuring that the door stays water tight in the corners.
