All NEWLINE Acrylic Showers feature patented aquaCHECK™ technology.

NEWLINE aquaCHECK™ is a simple yet ingenious channel and corner drain system designed to prevent capillary water action and leakage, both of which can lead to water damage.

The aquaCHECK™ system is designed to create an air gap around the upstand where the acrylic shower tray contacts the wall. This air gap prevents water creeping in over the shower tray upstand and causing damage behind walls, or to the underlying structure and floors. An aditional feature is the drainage system which uses unique corner drains built into the external corners of the NEWLINE Acrylic Shower Tray. These drains prevent water pressure building up on the aluminium extrusions of the shower door, ensuring that the door stays water tight in the
corners.
